ABOUT THE ROLE

Eko is looking for its Assistant Manager (AM) - SEO. As an AM, you will be responsible for the organic growth in traffic and subsequently leads for Eko. You will be responsible for ensuring Eko's presence in organic results of Google search for relevant queries. You will also lead the effort of App Store Optimisation for Eko's apps.

In the first quarter, you will research and come up with a plan to improve SEO for Eko and its apps. You will collaborate with tech, product and inside sales teams to understand the business in detail and come up with a relevant list of keywords/queries to focus on in the short and medium term. You will also set up tracking and evaluation mechanisms to ensure that the inputs are in the right direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own and drive the SEO roadmap to Boost DAUs and MAUs.

2. Perform market research and competitor analysis to plan and execute SEO roadmap.

3. Report insights on KPIs like the product metrics, user metrics, competitors, and Eko's SEO health.

4. Ensure month-on-month organic growth in traffic, app downloads and qualified leads.

5. Collaborate with teams internally and externally to develop SEO relevant content.

6. Advise product, engineering and content teams on how SEO works.

7. Build customer trackers using GTM and JavaScript for user actions

8. Perform technical SEO audits to highlight technical issues

9. Explore and implement all SEO initiatives to grow the online presence of Eko.

10. Recommend and implement ideas to drive more organic traffic

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education - BE/ B. Tech. from Tier I or other top colleges.

Experience - 2-4 years of experience in a tech startup or agency with deep expertise on how SEO, JavaScript SEO, Google Bot and Search Engines work.

SKILLS

- Hands-on technical and strategic experience in on-page and off-page SEO.

- Proven track record of delivering high growth in SEO/ASO traffic at scale.

- Expertise with the latest SEO industry best practices.

- Good to have- Knowledge of using AHRefs, SemRush, Screaming Frog, Google Keywords
