Globally, Eko is the only organization which has the capability to process a secure payment transaction without installing a application on the phone or the SIM card. This ubiquitous design has helped Eko reach different customer segments. In order to bring in payment services to millions of Indian, Eko in its journey partnered with State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank & IndusInd Bank.
Recently, Eko was also awarded by RBI the - Pre-paid issuance license- . This license enables Eko to provide payment services independently of its banking partners to millions of customer who Eko wishes to touch over the next couple of years.
Currently, Eko serves over 5 million customers, in 80 towns / cities over 13 states of India.
Job Description

Role
- Establish and manage a network of distributors and retailers in the given territory
- Create/expand and lead a team of Channel Partners/I-CSPs.
- Own very aggressive targets for expanding the network, customer acquisition, transaction value and revenue from services new to the market.
- Ensure consistent beat of internal and external sales staff and consistent performance by the channel.
- Manage relationship with local vendors and partner Bank's local branches. Be responsible for profit and loss from the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- MBA (Sales or Marketing) from Tier 1 management institutes.
- 2- 3 years of experience in channel management in FMCG/ Banking/ Insurance sector.
Essential Skills
- Very good communication (written, verbal and email etiquettes).
- Creative thinking, performing under pressure and ability to express are extremely important. Understanding of consumer and channel behaviour.
- Good convincing/ influencing skills.
