Position/Title: Sr. /Lead Business Analyst
The Senior/Lead Business Analyst will be responsible for the features and shape of a product family at Eka.
Experience:
- 4 - 10 years of experience working in Supply chain and Cloud-based software (enterprise application)
- Knowledge and experience in B2B Commerce, Procurement, Global Trade or Supply Chain functions
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a definite plus: Spend management, Spend Analytics, Direct/Indirect Procurement, Supplier management or Business Networks
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Very good solution, design ability to bring out clear functional specifications and user stories
- Ability to interact with and work with development and testing to ship features with quality and on-time
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage time, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile Methodology
- Good Knowledge of tools like JIRA / Confluence, Miro, MS Office, etc.
- Working knowledge of API integrations with ERP, Finance, Accounting softwares
Responsibilities:
- Involve in product design, co-ordinate in development and release process for assigned products to ensure product development based on the road map laid out by the Product management team.
- Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects.
- Create detailed use cases, business requirements, and marketing requirements.
- Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.
- Coordinate beta testing of new products and features. Document and report problems and recommend solutions/improvements to program managers. Participate in product performance benchmarking activities.
- Coordinate with related product partners in implementing interfaces / integration with their products
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform product demonstrations at trade shows, online seminars, and other events.
- Document answers to customer technical questions that cannot be answered by sales staff or product support specialists using existing documentation.
