Job Description:
Position Overview: As an AVP at EIVA, you will play a pivotal role in our investment banking team. You will work on a wide range of transactions in the organization, including mergers and acquisitions, IPO advisory, private equity investments, venture capital deals and structured finance transactions. This role is ideal for an individual who is highly motivated and wants to work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deal Execution: Collaborate with the senior management team to support the end-to-end execution of the transactions, including financial modelling, due diligence, valuation analysis, and preparing IMs and pitch Books.
2. Operational support and coordination: Provide operational support for deal execution, coordinating with underwriters, legal counsel, auditors, and other external parties to ensure the transaction progresses seamlessly.
3. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by mapping industries, actively prospecting potential clients, conducting market research, and meeting with different promoters.
4. Industry Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to provide valuable insights to clients and team members.
5. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic insights, conducting market research, and effectively communicating progress throughout the deal lifecycle.
6. Documentation: Prepare and review transaction documents, such as term sheets and offering memoranda ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience specializing in, investment banking and related functions.
- MBA from a Tier 1 institution or a Chartered Accountant credential.
- Proven track record in managing deal execution processes, including due diligence, documentation, investor targeting, and pricing strategies.
