We are currently looking for a EHS MANAGER position with the topmost Foods and Beverages MNC in India. The position is to be based at plant in Andhra Pradesh.

Job Profile:

- To lead the implementation of regulatory Environment, Occupational Health & Safety standards and manage activities pertaining to Environment, Safety & Occupational Health management to ensure safe workplace through efficient & cost effective utilization of available resources.

- Leads, champions, and directs the achievement of global compliance with internal and external legal requirements for plant operations.

- Coach site EHS team, Site Leadership Team, EHS coordinators on how to improve EHS performance through effective EHS management system implementation.

- Lead site team for EHS, loss prevention audits conducted by corporate functions, insurers, regulatory enforcement authorities or management system accreditation / certification bodies.

- Support site in developing and implementing effective CAPA’s and share these learning’s within region.

- To lead as EHS investigator following major adverse events or incidents at site. Escalate the findings to management & ensure to mitigate risks to avoid its reoccurrences.

- Provide training as required on risk assessment, risk management system, process safety, tools and techniques.

- Ensure effective risk management process are in place in use in compliance with the Global Quality Management Process

- Ensure accountability for corrective and preventative action (CAPA) development for each major and critical observation arising from any audit, and ensure that monitoring of progress against these actions takes place on at least a quarterly basis.

- To provide EHS technical input for new capital projects, change management and new production introductions.

- Lead site on implementation of EHS Blue Chip projects

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E - with safety qualifications from CLI / RLI

Experience: Min. 6-10 years of experience in industrial safety in Foods/ FMCG/ Pharma industry

Knowledge

- Thorough knowledge of industry practices in Safety and Environment management

- Knowledge on Effluent Treatment Plant operations.

- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures

- Knowledge of applicable GES, SOPs, GQPs, GQMPs, FM Global Data sheets,

- 6-10 years’ experience in the EHS functions of a process industry in which 2-3 years should be in the Managerial capacity.

- Knowledge of Statutory Requirements on EHS, ISO – 14001 & OHSAS 18001.

- Thorough understanding of regulatory and legal requirements in respect of both Health & Safety and Environment
