We are looking for a Business Development Manager who have a knack for selling and managing people.
Purpose of the role :
Works to improve edWisor's market position and achieve financial growth, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities :
- The work involves sales on call both inbound and outbound and managing team of 20+ business development executives and team leaders.
- Product knowledge and ability to counsel and convince prospects about the product.
- Work with the internal technical team, marketing team, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and leads, thereby maximize revenue for the organization.
- Assign prospects to team leaders and monitor them in converting prospects to enrolments.
- Counselling and mentoring prospects for a relevant career path and, ultimately enrol them for programmes.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators. Must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches for team leaders and executives to help will convince prospects to enrol for the career paths on our platform.
- Ability to work under deadlines to achieve targets and goals, organize and prioritize responsibilities.
- Responsible for preparing weekly reports and maintaining the database of prospects and leads in CRM.
- Tracking and reporting sales performance including pipeline and acquisition results on a weekly/monthly-basis and presenting the same to the Management.
- Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff and ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
- Present to and consult management on business trends.
Required Skills & experience :
- Overall 2-5 years of experience in Sales.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing team.
- B.Tech + MBA
- Should be from Tier 1 College.
- Experience in consultative and solution seeking approach to selling.
- Must have excellent communication and convincing skills.
- Skills of counselling, mentoring and business.
- Must be target driven, persuasive, intellectual and able to cope with pressure.
- Experience of working with Education Tech.
Salary Offered : Upto 9 LPA
