Job Summary:

As the Financial Controller of our Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), you will be responsible for managing and directing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Your role will involve providing strategic financial guidance to the management team while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's objectives.

- Conduct financial analysis, forecasts, and projections to guide decision-making and optimize resource allocation.

- Monitor financial performance against budget, forecast, and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements, including those specific to NBFCs.

- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies for audits, inspections, and compliance matters.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic budgets aligned with strategic objectives.

- Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, identifying reasons for deviations and recommending corrective actions.

- Implement cost control measures to optimize expenses while maintaining operational efficiency.

Treasury and Cash Management:

- Manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements to ensure financial stability and meet obligations.

- Oversee banking relationships, including loan facilities, credit lines, and investment accounts, to optimize financial resources and minimize risks.

- Develop and implement cash management strategies, including short-term and long-term investment plans.

Risk Management and Compliance:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk.

- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with NBFC regulations, reporting requirements, and statutory obligations.

- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
