Position Overview: The Area Sales Head plays a crucial role in driving sales through indirect channels, such as distributors, resellers, and partners. This individual is responsible for managing and developing relationships with Delivery Partners to increase the company's market share, revenue, and brand presence. The Area Sales Head will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute strategies that maximize sales opportunities within the assigned channel partner network.

Key Responsibilities:


Channel Partner Management:


- Identify, recruit, and onboard new Delivery Partners to expand the company's reach in the market.


- Develop strong relationships with existing Delivery Partners and provide ongoing support to enable their success.


- Conduct regular meetings, training, and performance reviews with Delivery Partners to align goals and objectives.


Sales Strategy and Planning:


- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop channel-specific sales strategies and action plans.


- Set sales targets for Delivery Partners and monitor their performance against the agreed-upon metrics.


- Identify opportunities for growth within the channel and devise plans to capitalize on those opportunities.


Sales Enablement:


- Provide Delivery Partners with the necessary sales tools, resources, and product knowledge to effectively sell the company's offerings.


- Conduct training sessions and sales presentations for Delivery Partners and their sales teams.


Marketing Collaboration:


- Work closely with the marketing team to develop channel-specific marketing programs and campaigns.


- Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives with Delivery Partners to drive demand generation and lead conversion.


Performance Analysis and Reporting:


- Track and analyze channel sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.


- Prepare regular reports on channel sales metrics, achievements, and challenges for management review.


Channel Development and Expansion:


- Continuously evaluate the channel partner network to identify potential gaps and opportunities for expansion.


- Explore and implement new channel strategies to strengthen market penetration.


Qualifications and Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of successful channel sales management and achieving sales targets through Delivery Partners.


- 7 to 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or channel management, preferably in Education, Telecom, or Insurance.


- Strong understanding of channel sales strategies, distribution models, and partner ecosystems.


- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.


- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.


- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with Delivery Partners and attend industry events
