Job Description Summary

- Make AI & Computer Science study sound easy and articulate the same in the organisation

- Have broad teaching capacity that supports both undergraduate degrees and with research specialization that supports Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

- Develop the Computer Science department is home to the largest undergraduate program in the which delivers an accredited degree in Computer Science with specialization areas in Game Development, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Autonomous Systems.

- Developing curricula and delivering course material.

- Lecture/seminar planning

- Providing training and mentoring to teaching assistants

- Successful applicants must be capable of teaching a range of classes in the curriculum, at all levels, and ideally would contribute to instruction focused in at least one of the following areas: graphical interactive programs, Cyber-Security, Autonomous Systems, Software Engineering, and Distributed/parallel computing.

- This position is part of a strategic expansion of the Institute. The department will also deliver a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science and the expansion of the faculty will be critical to growing the size of program.

- Applicants must demonstrate the ability to develop a highly successful teaching and research program

- Attract independent research funding

- Publish the results of their research studies in leading scientific journals of their discipline,

- Supervise graduate and undergraduate students, and to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate level courses.

- In addition, the candidates are expected to assist in the education mission of the department and to provide whatever academic service is requested to by the Chair of the Department.

- Should be a great collaborator and proactively involved in bridging the gap with technology between all verticals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

- Masters in Computer Science or a closely related field

- Experience should be minimum 12 years Industry experience 7 years + Academic experience 5 years

DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Teaching and/or relevant research/industry experience

- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent and interdisciplinary funded applied research.

- Experience in curriculum delivery and development

- Experience with students academic mentoring

- Experience in program assessment and execution of a continuous improvement plan.

- Active participation in professional activities and organizations.

- Prior professional and industry experience with progressive responsibility.
