Educational Initiatives - Product Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Product Analyst to build a web portal and an app for parents to gain insights about their ward's progress in learning. You will be required to re-imagine the reports, data and insights we share with parents and students currently to make the product/s more meaningful for them.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Meet parents and other stakeholders to understand the needs from individual stakeholder perspective

- Visualize and design screens for web/app portal that are intuitive to use and aesthetically appealing

- Work with various internal and external stakeholders to gain deep understanding of the product

- Do continuous product-level analysis to check the insights emerging from data to identify meaningful messages that can be shared with parents and students

- Use feedback from clients and internal teams to come up with features, prototype them and take them to execution stage

- Coordinate with IT and Product development teams to ensure that the features are executed in a satisfactory manner

- Document all the requirements and logic in a systematic way

- Document all the issues reported in a systematic way

- Support development teams in times of need

- Provide support to sales and marketing teams in making of collaterals (prints, videos etc.)

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of the different platform features

- Make and update training videos and presentations explaining product features, usage etc. for various internal and external stakeholders

- Follow-up and close issues reported by the different stakeholders

- Keep track of, analyze and document competitor products and the improvements made on them

- Make teams aware of positives and gaps of the relevant competitor products

- Recommend actionable plans to integrate best features from competitor products

Skillset

Must have:

- Passionate about Education and the desire to ensure that students are learning with understanding

- Ability to visualize and design screens for web/app portal that are intuitive to use and aesthetically appealing

- Ability to work with large data sets using tools like Excel and R

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in an effective manner

- Strong problem-solving skills with a - get things done- attitude

- Excellent communication skills

Preferred:

- Ability to quickly and independently learn new analytical tools that may help in the work

- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS

Education:

- Master's degree in any major from leading colleges and universities

Experience:

- 3-5 years of work experience as a product analyst. Experience in the education sector will be useful but not necessary.

- Having worked on a digital platform, web/app, for a client will be an added advantage
