Edison Education - Chief Technology Officer - IIT/NIT/BITS

Our start-up marketing company needs a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who can provide technical leadership for the company. The ideal applicant will have an organized and creative mindset that drives him or her to find innovative solutions to common problems. If you have a background in social media / digital marketing, app development, etc., and have the necessary technical and managerial skills to fulfill the obligations of a senior level position to drive growth of a forward-looking education company, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Represent the technological agenda to senior level management

- Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments

- Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each

- Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics

- Identify new areas of digital marketing opportunities and create plans to implement them for us and our clients

- Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity

- Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP

- Drive social and digital media sales

- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture

- Exposure to building & deploying ERP, Mobile payments and the like

- Academic experience with exposure in participating in seminars, conferences, research publications, representing the organization

- Up-to-date with the current (and future) levels of IT security, threats, vulnerabilities that could impact the organization's digital and financial assets

Qualifications & Skills

- Candidate from a Tier 1 Engineering College like IIT/ NIT/BITS or B.Tech / B.E., MCA/MBA, Any Specialization with a passion working in a Start-Up environment

- 7+ years' software engineering and IT experience

- Proven track record of success in leadership positions

- Familiarity with marketing platforms, programs and policies

- Hands-on experience with frontend and backend technologies and procedures, java, android, web technologies, etc.

- Exceptional project management and organization skills
