The Role:

Were looking for a Social Media Manager whos hands-on, trend-savvy, and ready to take full ownership of our online presence across platforms especially LinkedIn, YouTube, and Medium.

You will be the voice of Edgematics to the world, driving awareness, engagement, and growth across regions and verticals.

This role collaborates closely with the Business Development team, Marketing, and our in-house graphic designer.


Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Calendar Ownership:

- Build and maintain an engaging, trend-aligned monthly content calendar across platforms, with a strong focus on LinkedIn and Medium.

Social Media Execution & Growth:

- Draft post copy, publish content, and actively engage with audiences (commenting, responding, initiating interactions).

- Drive organic follower growth, impressions, and thought leadership positioning across global markets (UK, UAE, North America, India).

Engagement, InMail & Mail Campaigns:

- Own community building: from daily commenting to strategic InMail outreach that drives conversations and brand visibility.

- Manage and execute email campaigns for existing accounts to support brand building, deepen engagement, and foster customer advocacy in collaboration with BD and Customer Success teams.

Trend Spotting & Real-Time Activation:

- Stay ahead of global B2B and tech trends.

- Quickly adapt content plans to leverage trending topics, especially across Data Engineering, Agentic AI, Data Governance, and AI/ML.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

- Work with BD to ensure content aligns with sales goals and pipeline focus.

- Partner with Marketing to promote campaigns, events, webinars, and partnerships.

- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to ensure visuals reinforce brand messaging and post intent.

- Collaborate on email outreach and customer engagement campaigns that reinforce advocacy, retention, and brand affinity across existing accounts.

Analytics & Reporting:

- Track performance metrics (follower growth, engagement rates, reach, etc.

- Provide biweekly reports with insights and next steps to optimize reach and impact.


Who You Are:

- You live and breathe social media, especially LinkedIn.

- Youre plugged into global business, AI, and tech trends and know how to make them relevant for niche B2B audiences.

- Youre proactive, curious, and take ownership of growth.

- You have excellent communication skills and an eye for quality content and storytelling.


Requirements:

- 3 to 6 years of experience in social media marketing (B2B or tech company preferred).

- Strong portfolio of past posts, campaigns, or social calendars.

- Proficiency with LinkedIn, Medium, and social analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native insights).

- Ability to research, ideate, and write across complex tech topics.

- An understanding of the data and AI landscape.


Nice to Have:

- Familiarity with B2B enterprise sectors like banking, telecom, or retail.

- Experience working or targeting posts to different international audiences.

- Previous experience aligning social efforts with inbound sales or partner marketing.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Follower Growth:

- Minimum 10 to 15% monthly increase in LinkedIn followers.

- Monthly Medium readership growth of 10%.

Engagement Metrics:

- 2x increase in average post engagement rate (likes, comments, shares) each month for the first 6 months.

Weekly activity:


- Minimum 5 value-added comments on relevant industry threads or influencer posts.

Content Output & Quality:

- Minimum of 3 to 4 high-quality LinkedIn posts per week.

Lead & Awareness Contributions:

- Trackable influence on MQLs via social (event registrations, ebook downloads, demo requests).

- Support 100% of planned campaign timelines with aligned social presence.

InMail, Email and Community Engagement:

- Launch and maintain at least 1 active monthly InMail campaign aligned with BD goals.

- Execute at least 2 targeted email campaign per quarter for existing accounts focused on advocacy, retention, or brand-building objectives.

- Engage and respond to all comments and DMs within 24 hours.

Real-Time Trend Activation:

- Minimum 2 trend-based, opportunistic posts per month (aligned with data/AI industry themes).

Reporting & Ownership:

- Submit biweekly analytics reports with actionable recommendations.

- Demonstrate month-on-month improvement in impressions, reach, and engagement across platforms.
