Edfora - Solution Architect/Technical Architect

Role Overview: A Technical Architect will be a person who will define the technical architecture of the systems and applications and will make sure it is implemented. He will develop the detailed technical plan from the scratch which will address the business requirements, scalability, robustness, reliability and security.

We are seeking a person who will translate business requirements into a detailed technical architecture and plan. Someone who has a hunger for new technologies, has a passion to solve complex business problems and zeal to build the best product.

Responsibilities:

- Understanding the business requirements and come up with a robust technical architecture design which exceeds the requirements.

- Getting involved in the design discussions and ensure the designed architecture is in sync with the requirements after discussing with the concerned stakeholders.

- Define a detailed technical plan in terms of system components, services, nodes, network etc

- Supervise and mentor the development team in terms of implementation of the pre-defined architecture and make sure it is implemented.

- Take part in coding and development activities in order to develop the basic code backbone/skeleton which other developers can extend. Also implements the POCs for complex problems.

- Work as an expert with respect to code security, scalability, robustness, performance etc and own all these.

- Tune and optimize systems for optimal performance web servers, DB servers and other servers etc. from time to time.

- Create and maintain a documentation of the systems, architecture and design like HLD, LLD etc

- Take measures to ensure security and safety in terms of data, network, code and servers and systems and devise methods and technologies for the same.

Requirement:

- Passion to explore new technologies and solve complex problems.

- B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience from a premier/reputed college.

- Total of atleast 6-8 years of experience and a relevant experience of atleast 2 years.

- Expert in NoSQL/Schema less/In memory database systems like MongoDB. and also schema based RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL with proven previous experience of solving complex business problems with these systems.

- Experience in building scalable systems with ability to handle large traffic without any issues. It is preferable that candidate has himself experience as Backend developer in the past.

- Hands-on experience is must on MongoDB for more than 2 years. The candidate must have an in-depth understanding of NoSQL design principles, micro-service architecture, building scalable and modular architectures.

- Experience on nodeJS/MEAN stack is preferred

- Proven experience of at least 2 years working as a technical architect or similar role in any reputed organization is needed. It would be nice if the candidate can share with us an example of the past work he has done which is industry accepted, running and has proved to be a success.

- Experience in creating UML designs for system design

- Knowledge and experience with SDLC process and using tools like JIRA, GIT etc for Project management.
