Senior Technology Leader
Role Overview : You will play a critical role in scaling the team and technology, in building a high-performance & high-quality culture and helping the business to grow with fast-paced product innovation. The person will be responsible for establishing the technical vision, leading the in-house and outsourced team in all aspects of our technology development.
We want to hire a technology hustler with a passion for entrepreneurship, get-go attitude and mettle to change the rote learning system in India, where success totally depends on execution!
Responsibilities :
- Create, implement and execute IT vision to support overall strategic plans.
- Oversee and provide technical vision across all engineering teams: backend, UI, mobile, QA, DevOps, IoT.
- Own end to end development and operations of high-performance web and mobile applications.
- Architecting and scaling engineering platform to reduce technical debts and improve performance and agility.
- Ensure that company's core technology infrastructure (e.g. AWS) scales in line with business requirements; the intense focus on cost savings and performance uptime/efficiency.
- Build and maintain the knowledge-based as one of the company's legacies. Documentation oriented.
- Foster culture of innovation and fast execution, leading by example and hands-on execution.
- Improve or establish an application deployment process and supervise and monitor deployment to staging and production servers.
- Evaluates adoption of new technologies for both Web / App.
- Research and apply new technologies and best practices.
- Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all development staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements.
- Manage projects, timelines, and releases.
Requirement :
- Computer science degree from premier institute;
- 8-12 years of engineering experience; should be majority in hands-on, IC oriented roles
- Ability to clearly and quickly convert business problems into technology-driven solutions.
- Full stack engineering understanding across backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps.
- Should be a hands-on technology person with an eye for details and scale. Ability to Multi-Task in an ambiguous and very dynamic start-up environment. Should have excellent prioritization and project management skills.
- Possess the high level of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm. A team driven orientation is critical.
- Proven tech leadership is a must.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Be entrepreneurial in nature, work as an effective leader with the CEO and other business heads.
