The current role is proposed at Bharat Grid Private Limited, which is the holding company for all smart meter projects in India for EDF.

Main tasks:
- Deliver high quality work under guidance of the respective team lead to meet project requirements and at the same time, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the deliverables
- Develop understanding of the commercial and contractual implications under various contracts, specifically for Project Financing
- Prepare complex financial models by analyzing key business drivers and conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis in order to ensure compliance with project documents and applicable accounting & taxation principles
- Develop a sound understanding of the various debt products including NCDs, PTCs, Direct assignment etc.
- Develop knowledge of various aspects of debt fund raising including regulations, tax, excel modelling and documentation
- Preparation of Information Memorandum, for sharing with prospective lenders
- Drive debt fundraises including managing investor queries on debt funding
- Meet the debt funding targets on debt funding with respect to cost of funds and targeted leverage in the business plan
- Relationship management with the Indian and International Banks and NBFC's
- Managing the debt funding process with lenders (Including negotiating term sheets) to achieve desired Credit Approvals
- Coordinating with lenders consultants and internal teams to close lenders due diligence
- Coordinating with Lender's Counsel and internal legal counsel to finalise the debt agreements and closure of documentation
- Coordinating with internal teams and lenders to close the Pre-Disbursement and Pre-commitment conditions
- Disbursement of Debt in line with the Business Plan and as per project requirement
- Managing Post Disbursement compliances
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in multicultural environments and multidisciplinary team
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, appetite for developing IT skills (e. Power BI)
- Excellent Financial Modelling skills and ability to build out 3-statement forecasted models including Revenue Models, Cost Models, Debt Waterfall and Leverage Analysis
- Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences
- Detailed understanding of Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in India
- Market knowledge of infrastructure lending and project finance for Indian project loans
- Relevant experience working in the project finance team of a top-tier investment or commercial bank or specialist advisor, or an asset manager investing in energy or infrastructure, or a renewable energy developer with sizable project portfolio
- Good time management and demonstrated ability to perform under time pressure and to prioritize to handle multiple assignments
