Role Description:

- The Territory Sales Manager at Edelweiss Life Insurance is responsible for leading the sales operations in the assigned territory.

- This includes recruiting Business Managers with a variable pay structure, driving sales performance, strategizing sales growth, and managing a high-performing sales team.

- You will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies, motivating and training the team, and building relationships with key stakeholders to maximize revenue growth.

- The role also involves overseeing the performance of the sales team and ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recruit and onboard Business Managers with a focus on high performance and growth.

- Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to drive business expansion.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.

- Monitor, evaluate, and report on sales performance metrics and provide actionable insights.

- Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including CAs, tax consultants, HNI networks, and competitors' agents.

- Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer service and cultivates long-term client relationships.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance industry.

- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing high-performing sales teams.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and meeting KPIs.

- Deep understanding of sales performance metrics and how to leverage them for improvement.

- Bachelor's/ masters degree in Business Administration or a related field.

- Strong professional network with CAs, tax consultants, HNI individuals, and competition agents.

Preferred Skills:

- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.

- Experience in managing a territory and achieving sales growth targets.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
