Regional Head - CBM

- Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance is looking for a Regional Head for its Variable Sales Channel - CBM at Pune and Nagpur

Reporting to the Zonal Head and with a team of 10 members, the incumbent will drive the business objectives for the region by :

a. Achieving set top line and bottom line targets of the region by building a scalable /self-propagating and performing business units of individual entrepreneurs to ensure YOY growth and enhance market share

b. Becoming a custodian of health /quality and compliance of the region; through

Managerial Responsibilities :

1. People management, motivation, coaching and training

2. Providing guidance on achieving self target on regular basis & enabling career growth

3. Identifying Skills/Will gaps and providing Training/ Coaching to team members

Functional Responsibilities :

1. Maintain YOY Growth on Top Line and Profitability of the Region

2. Ensure Man Power Budget for the Region is met

3. Maintain Persistency and Quality and Health of Business

4. Conduct morning meetings & track daily business activities

5. Make a Marketing Activity Plan and ensure Execution. Drive R&R Programs for the team

6. Be the collaborator among branches and other departments like UW/New Business/HR/Admin to achieve common goals

7. Ensure execution of training calendar and programs

8. Analyze and Publish MIS and prepare Plan of Region

Competencies Needed :

- Prior experience of minimum 15 years in life insurance preferably with Variable Agency businesses

- People management including driving the team towards achievement of business objctives

- Demonstratable leadership skills with ability to plan, prioritise and multitask

- Adept in problem solving with proactive decisionmaking skills

- Energetic personality with good interpersonal & analytical skills
