Lead - Internal Audit

1) Aware of auditing best practices, risk based internal audit, preparing audit plan, discussion of findings & follow-up for resolution.

2) Excellent English communication and adept at stakeholder management.

3) Should have performed or conversant with Concurrent Audits, Priority sector lending (PSL) audits, ITGC audits, Post disbursement file reviews.

4) Good understanding of direct & indirect tax, accounting, treasury, operations, legal & valuation processes.

5) Experience in both secured (mortgages) and unsecured (SME) products required.

6) Plan and conduct audits of operations to assess controls, operational efficiencies and compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.

7) Maintain a comprehensive system for recording all audit plans, work papers, findings, reports and follow-up audits.

8) Ensure closure of compliance response on released audit reports and timely implementation of corrective actions.

9) Recommend changes in internal policy to reduce/mitigate the risks to strengthen the internal controls.

10) Review of Non Performing Accounts (NPA) to establish instances of policy/process non-adherence by sanctioning authority which led to account turning NPA.

11) Ensure completion of investigation / review in line with regulatory guidelines/company policies.

12) Ability to handle/liaise with senior stakeholders on fraud matters & reporting of fraud cases (FMR1,2&3) to Compliance team.

13) Monitoring PDD performance of Mortgages suite on monthly basis and lead interactions with stakeholders to maintain the ratio at an acceptable level.

14) Vendor management for outsourced audit activities.

15) Lead interactions with stakeholders on stressed assets pool for selling it to ARC companies.

16) Perform thematic audits as required.
