Ecosystem Data Scientist Manager

The Role:

The candidate to work closely with all internal Ecosystem stakeholders on the Data Science projects. We use data science as a mean to increase knowledge at a fast pace, blending classic statistics with machine learning. The Data Scientist Manager will support our sales, leadership and/or marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company & industry data. They must have strong experience in using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building, and implementing models, using/creating algorithms.

Key Responsibilities -

- Lead the Ecosystem Data Science offshore team

- Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of processes, marketing techniques and business strategies.

- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.

- Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize the business process and solutions

Skills Required:

- Need to have background/education/experience in Statistics

- Need to have experience in data analytics, descriptive analytics, predictive analytics

- Need to have experience with classification models: Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Neural Networks, ML models

- Need to have experience coding in SQL, Python, DataBricks, PySpark

- Experience with Data Visualization

- Need have experience managing a team, priorities and deadlines

- Good communicator, comfortable taking lead, experience working with onshore teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.

- Proven track record of supporting global clients or internal stakeholders in data science projects.

- Experience of working across multiple geographic borders and time zones.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduation/post-graduation in computers/Engineering/Statistics from a reputed institute.
