Position - Economist

Company : A leading Industrial House

Location - New Delhi

Reporting to - Chief of Staff

Role Purpose :

Overall responsibility of consolidation and contribution to research in the preparation of required studies in the areas of financial, socio-political and economic concerns.

Background & Experience:

Graduate/Post Graduate in Economics from a premier Institute. Knowledge and experience in Public Policy and Governance will be an added advantage.

Experience: 7 - 10 years. Candidates with interest in Politics, Economics and Non-Profit Organizations will be preferred.

Role description:

- Ownership of Research Areas aligned to the company's objectives

- Pro-actively and on project /task basis develop research reports which analyse, interpret and propose intervention areas in the space of Economy & Finance challenges facing the nation

- Ability to translate the research findings to appropriate Solutions

- Continuously scan the latest happenings and identify opportunities for the company.

- Macro-economic research on some broad industrial sectors with a view of forecasting impact of key events on the performance of the industry
