Economic Research Role - Institutional Equity - Stock Broking Firm

Job Description -

Qualification & experience:

- Masters in Economic

- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in Institutional equity Broking industry

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Prepare thematic reports on economy, Budget, politics, evolving trends, overall equity market etc

- Write research report on various macro data points

- Build macro models, analyze and monitor broad macro by tracking various high frequency indicators

- Conduct channel checks with dealers etc to understand the pulse and evolving trends in overall economy

- Interact with various government officials to understand incremental reforms, evolving trends in economy etc

- Arrange investor/client interaction with Government officials.

- Address investor and sales queries and closely work with entire research and sales team

Skills:

- Good in doing statistical analysis and have working knowledge of R, Stata etc

- Strong skills in maintaining databases, excel and power point

- Possess good writing and communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Self motivated and strong interest in equities

- Ability to work with minimal guidance and deliver under strict time guidelines
