Economic Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY:

- High quality macroeconomic analysis and forecasting using econometric modelling- India focused

- Writing reports grounded in fundamental economic analysis

- Adding differentiated perspectives and value add to C-CER's products

- Helping CRISIL's other businesses with economic analysis

- Working with economy-related and corporate database

Essential Qualification: Masters in Economics with work/research experience in macroeconomics/forecasting

Experience:

- 0-2 / 2-3 years, work experience in macroeconomic research

- Writing non-technical economy-related reports, based on technical research

- Understanding of Indian and international economic data

Skills:

- Technical understanding of macroeconomics

- Strong analytical skills

- Training and aptitude for statistical work with knowledge of analytical software packages like R / Eviews / Stata / Python

- Knowledge of graphic and narrative techniques for the presentation of data

- Good written communication and presentation skills.

- Service mind-set

- Team player

- Result oriented and self-starter
