We are currently looking for E-commerce Merchandiser position for one of our client based at Dubai.

Ideal candidate profile -
- 1-2 years retail or fashion industry experience in buying
- Postgraduate degree in business administration/ graduate degree in fashion designing, merchandising or apparel production.
- Experience in maximizing sales and profitability for the Concepts/Brand
- Retail & fashion industry and product development.
- Advanced knowledge of online retail
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Ability to comfortably work on multiple projects and products
- Excellent communication skills
- Expert in excel

Responsible for merchandise planning process to achieve department /category sales, margin, stockholding and flow objectives under the guidance of Head Ecommerce Merchandising.
Support in determining high-level financial goals including pre-season financial plans & in-season projections
Prepare and maintain MIS analytics for Concept /Brand merchandise based on actual sales, sales forecasts, company order parameters, inventory checks, forth coming events, replenishment needs
Assist in the creation of merchandise/seasonal plans for the Concept/Brand based on insights gained from merchandise analytics, customer preference, historical and current fashion trends
Assist in weekly /monthly reporting the concept/brand on sales, stock, margins, replenishment
Ensure effective in season management (stock balancing, markdown management,stock analysis, stock vs sales performance)
Ensure optimum category inventory levels are maintained at Category level keeping in mind online trading
Ensure excess Category inventory is not maintained at the warehouses and ensure flow of stock back to Concept/Brand
Work jointly with the concepts co-ordinate promotions and develop online exclusive promotions that align to the concept and online marketing calendar
Plan and execute email features that drive visits and revenue
Help source and develop rich content for products listed on the site - be the product expert
Merchandise the site to maximize add to cart, average basket value and sales through the planning and execution of product features, promotions and cross selling
Analyse the effectiveness of the promotions in achieving the targeted levels of sales and margins
Care about building relationships with Concepts/Brand and Warehouse
Complete regular competive reviews and making recommendations based on the analysis to ensure we are in a position to maximize sales and profits
Decide on the categories to expand the assortments above the stores and jointly make the product selection with the concepts
