Job Description:
- As the Ecommerce Direct Sales Manager (EDSM), you will play a pivotal role in driving sales through new B2C customer acquisition within your designated zone/region.
- Your responsibilities extend to developing and nurturing strong client relationships, comprehending their logistics needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those requirements.
- The ideal candidate for this role possesses a proven track record in sales, a profound understanding of the ecommerce industry, and strong leadership skills.
- Your contributions will significantly impact ecommerce growth across India by enabling the Company's Sales team in providing effective logistics support to Marketplaces and D2C Brands.
- You will actively participate in executing strategies ultimately contributing to the creation of a robust and stable ecommerce business PAN India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a holistic ecommerce strategy through the Direct Party (DP) Sales Team to drive revenue growth, targeting Marketplaces & D2C Brands, from lead generation to lead closure.
- Guide the Sales Team in navigating the ecommerce landscape, identifying market opportunities, and tailoring bespoke logistics solutions for clients.
- Strategize and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) plans to propel ecommerce growth in designated regions.
- Deploy retention strategies, minimizing client churn, and fostering client loyalty.
- Utilize existing client relationships, identifying avenues to optimize ecommerce operations for D2C Brands.
- Distribute and manage client leads efficiently to maximize conversion rates and sales effectiveness.
- Oversee end-to-end client accounts, ensuring seamless integration and a superior ecommerce journey.
- Collaborate internally to integrate ecommerce logistics efficiently, driving operational excellence and efficiency.
- Educate and empower the DP Sales team with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze ecommerce metrics, identifying improvement areas and implementing corrective actions to enhance performance.
- Conduct regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction, promptly addressing any issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring seamless transactions.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with client expectations.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Work in coordination with Commercial teams to ensure timely collections, aligning with financial objectives.
- Provide guidance and assistance to internal teams, fostering synergy and holistic growth across the organization.
- Develop targeted strategies for upselling and cross-selling ecommerce products, leveraging client insights to create tailored offerings that maximize value.
