About the role:
- The Regional HR Head is responsible for leading the HR function across the designated region, driving strategic HR initiatives, and ensuring the alignment of people strategies with business goals.
- This role serves as a key partner to regional leadership, providing expert advice on all HR atters, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and HR operations.
- The Regional HR Head ensures the implementation of corporate HR policies and promotes a high-performance, inclusive culture throughout the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the HR strategy for the region in alignment with the organization's overall HR and business objectives.
- Partner with regional leadership to influence decision-making with a focus on people strategy and business growth.
- Act as a key contributor to the HR leadership team, providing insights and recommendations based on regional needs and challenges.
- Oversee the regional talent acquisition strategy, ensuring the recruitment of high-quality talent in line with business needs.
- Implement talent management and succession planning frameworks to identify, retain, and develop key talent across the region.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee retention, reducing turnover and enhancing the employee value proposition.
- Champion initiatives that drive employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction across the region.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment that aligns with the company's values and culture.
- Lead the roll-out of employee engagement surveys, analyze feedback, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Ensure HR operations in the region run smoothly, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage risk by implementing effective employee relations practices and resolving complex employee issues.
- Oversee the regional performance management process, ensuring that employee performance is regularly reviewed, and development plans are in place.
- Partner with Learning & Development (L&D) teams to address regional training needs and implement leadership development programs.
- Drive a culture of continuous feedback and development, ensuring alignment between performance and business objectives.
- Lead HR-related change management efforts, supporting the business through transitions such as organizational restructuring or culture transformation.
- Provide guidance on organizational design and workforce planning to optimize talent resources and support business growth.
- Leverage HR analytics to drive insights into key HR metrics such as turnover, employee satisfaction, and workforce productivity.
- Present regular reports to senior management on regional HR performance, recommending strategies for improvement based on data analysis.
- Ensure fair and competitive compensation structures across the region in collaboration with the corporate compensation team.
- Partner with the corporate HR team to evaluate and recommend improvements to benefits programs.
- Manage and mentor the regional HR team, providing guidance and support in their professional growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative HR culture that shares best practices and leverages resources across regions.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certification preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven track record in talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use HR analytics for decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
