Vertical - Business Finance
Job Brief - The person suitable for the role will be responsible for Developing budgets, Cost Analysis, financial forecasts, financial models to support the achievement of business goals.
Responsibilities -
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare detailed financial reports & KPIs for management to support decision-making.
Strategic Financial Management:
- Collaborate with senior management to improve performance, productivity and margin across the various processes in the organization
- Evaluate business opportunities through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Provide insights on financial performance to support strategic initiatives.
Cost Management:
- Monitor operational expenses and implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
- Analyze cost structures, identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
- Prepare reports on cost performance and present findings to management.
- Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., operations, marketing) to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
- Present financial results and strategic recommendations to senior management and key operating personnel's.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor market trends and economic conditions that may impact financial performance.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Revenue Assurance, Controls, Processes and Assurance:
- Established controls over billing to ensure revenue recognition principles are met.
- Develop and maintain internal processes.
- Customer interaction for ensuring correct billing & collection
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Qualification & Skills Required - Analytical bend of mind with business acumen and team handling experience.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI with 5-10 years of experience (1st/2nd & 3rd attempt preferred).
- Expert knowledge of MS Office.
- Must have exposure working on Oracle ERP.
- Understanding of project financial concepts like EBITDA, EBIT, ROCE, ROE.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
