Senior Manager - C&B
Job Role:
- Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organisational objectives.
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc)
- Use various methods and techniques and make data based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensation.
- Strategizing and Leading all people development interventions for the organization.
- Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation.
- Communicating with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
- Supporting the HR team with talent management activities.
- Managing subordinate HR employees and daily operations related to talent management and compensation and benefits activities.
- Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics.
- Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices.
- Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Master's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience as a compensation and benefits manager and talent management.
- Relevant certifications, such as a CEBS or SHRM certification, preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience managing benefits and compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong people and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
