For more information visit: https://www.eccouncil.org/about/ Description: - EC Council seeks an experienced, engaging and visionary leader who would provide vision, strategy, broad-based planning, and hands-on approach for managing Information Security, IT compliance, and Cyber security risks at EC Council across the globe. - The role requires a leadership approach that is engaging, imaginative, and collaborative, with a sophisticated ability to work with other leaders to set the best balance between security strategies and other priorities at the campus level. He/ She will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust cyber security strategy by establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program. - The VP will ensure effective policies and procedures are defined and implemented for the domains including enterprise security architecture, security operations centre, data centre security, and network security including cloud and applications security. - This role will advise senior leaders and other stakeholders on the further development, implementation and management of EC Council's global/regional/country-wide Information Security initiatives for maintaining the integrity, availability, reliability, resilience, confidentiality and assurance of EC Council's IT systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain the ISMS (Information Security Management system) for cyber security policies, standards and procedures. Ensure implementation, compliance and regular governance 2. Publish cyber security metrics for leadership 3. Drive EC Council's information security awareness for global workforce. 4. Develop and implement an incident reporting framework to ensure adequate response to address security incidents and timely recovery 5. Performs periodic Risk assessment to ensure minimization of Cyber/ information security risks. Work with stakeholders to implement the remediation roadmap. 6. Keep abreast of latest security, privacy legislations and advisory alerts and serve as an internal information security consultant to the organization 7. Document, implement, test and manage organization's disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Requirements: - Knowledge of IT security requirements such as VA/PT, RT, SAST, DAST, CSF, IPS/ IDS, virtualization technologies, Cloud security and like. - Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks such as NIST CSF, SANS Top 20, OWASP, COBiT, ISO 27001 is a must - Knowledge of business continuity and IT disaster recovery frameworks such as ISO 22301 and ISO 27031 is preferred - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team, delivering high performance and customer satisfaction, in a culturally diverse, matrix management environments - Executive Presence &amp; Leadership Communication &amp; Presentation Proficiency - Strategy and Program Planning Qualifications: - Bachelor as well as Master degree in IT/ computer science from a university of repute - Minimum of 15 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT compliance. - 5 + years as VP/ AVP or equivalent roles - Should have certifications like C|CISO, C|EH, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 LA, PCI DSS, CRISC, PMP - Experience working with big four is a plus - Knowledge of IT security tools metrics - Team management of mid size teams - Extensive experience in information security architecture, consultative stakeholder management, and strategic planning - Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST CSF. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity. Conversant with power point and word - Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams
