Hiring Sr. Editor - EC-Council

Job Roles And Functions :

- Publish monthly IT/Information/Cyber Security Magazine.

- Good written skills in American English.

- Develop ongoing research on cyber security trending topics.

- Strategic content writing based on trending topics and keywords.

- Daily social media updates & posting.

- Publish quarterly Articles, White pages, information security reports or surveys.

- Monthly interview high profile IT/Information/Cyber Security professionals.

- Create the editorial board, or outline, for each of the publication's editions or issues.

- Proficient in language editing.

- Review all articles and photographs for accuracy as well as potential libel or slander, and provide suggestions, if needed, about any changes to make before the publication goes to press or is released digitally.

- Meet regularly with the publisher to discuss issues, plans, and other business relating to the publication.

- Responsible for drawing up budget proposals and any other information requested by the publisher.

- Generate ideas for new ways of doing things, such as using new technology, implementing ways to increase readership, and how to utilize new media.

Education & Experience :

- Degree in, Journalism, Marketing, Media, Communication, English, Journalism or related field.

- 7 - 10 years experience in content management.

- Excellent writing, proofing and editing skills.

- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

- Detail oriented and analytical with excellent consulting and problem solving skills

- Excellent research skills, developing great content requires.

- Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-departmental team.

- Familiarity with site analytics tools -- Google Analytics and understanding of HTML is a plus.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook.
