We have charted our growth with big-ticket innovations in payments and buyer guarantee systems. But here’s the deal – we believe we have barely scratched the surface!
The Marketing team is responsible for eBay India’s top strategic priority – to accelerate new buyer trail and grow the wallet share from the existing base. Over the past few years, we have been using (and continue to use) a portfolio of external marketing Channels ranging from conventional media to Internet Marketing channels for our marketing programs. In addition, we actively manage the end-to-end buying experience for the user.
But as mentioned above, we think this is just the beginning. Consumer preferences are evolving continuously - from the proliferation of different modes of data usage (Mobiles, other digital devices) to the content being consumed, with social media and video being consumed in ever-increasing amounts. Within ecommerce also, we are seeing innovative business models emerging. It is expected to be a fun ride.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The candidate’s key responsibility will be to manage a part of eBay’s Digital Marketing portfolio that covers Paid Search, Native campaigns on FB, Affiliate Marketing, Remarketing amongst other Internet Marketing activities. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
While the candidate is being hired for the below mentioned channels, he is expected to handle other key Internet Marketing channels in near future.
Responsible for the following channels:
- Desktop Marketing Channels – Affiliate Networks, Direct Affiliate Partners and Remarketing Campaigns across platforms
- Mobile Marketing - Paid Search, FB, Remarketing campaigns on the Mobile platform and building a robust ecosystem consisting of partners and technology for scalable and efficient Business on our Mobile platform
Work closely with the agencies on a daily basis to meet the set input (CPC and Clicks) and output goals (ROI)
Work with our Technology, Analytics and Category teams on a daily basis to improve the portfolio performance
Onboard new Affiliates on an ongoing basis.
JOB REQUIRMENTS :
6+ years of work experience in Internet Marketing predominantly in the internet/ecommerce space with hands-on experience on PPC campaigns and Affiliate Marketing in a high volume environment. An analytical mind with a good understanding of Databases and analytics is needed.
Education & Industry:
- Engg/MBA from an institute of repute would be preferred.
- Preferred Industries: ecommerce, Dotcoms, Technology.
- Google background would be an advantage
- Google certifications would be an advantage
- SEO exposure would be an advantage
