EAGLE Power Holdings
www.eaglepowerholdings.com
Us in brief:
- EAGLE aims to build a new singular technology and services platform, to help launch the next wave of UK energy retail challenger brands.
- We are looking for a lively Market Analyst to help shape our B2C and B2B strategies.
- You will directly assist the team to garner key understanding of market factors, and end-consumer considerations.
Your role:
- The role will encompass a range of market research, business analysis, and financial modelling activities.
- Financial modelling will be Excel based, to project market conditions and P&L, for EAGLE and its partner brands.
- You will be combining commercial, technology, and policy-level considerations, to create market engagement and investor collateral. Notably, validation of tech development spend to investors.
- Other strategic initiatives will arise, as is the nature of early-stage startup adventures. E.g. discovery of new end-consumer use-cases, and business model experimentation.
Experiences and Competences:
- Having a combination of both solid numerical modelling, and refined writing skills is key for the role. We're a small team, so each of us must inherently have a flexible breadth of competences.
- 4 years- experience in the energy sector, or in an adjacent sector such as insurance, or telecoms.
- English - highly proficient in writing and speaking, both technical and conversational.
- Solid Excel skills, with knowledge of advanced functions will be a strong advantage.
- The ability to produce slick presentations, using PowerPoint, and alternatives such as Piktochart.
- Writing skills should be to a high enough level for drafting narratives and narrative-style reports.
- If not coming from the energy sector, you should have some understanding of the energy landscape and its terminology - European deregulated retail energy an advantage.
- Web content creation (e.g. company newsletters, blogs, etc), and web content management experience an advantage. Including analytics and performance tracking across channels.
What we offer in addition to your basic package:
- Flexible working hours.
- Unlimited annual leave (the role is output-driven, so you will manage your deliverables accordingly).
- On-the-job coaching, and access to mentorship by industry and domain thought leaders.
- Full or partial sponsorship (evaluated case by case) for professional/skill development courses, certifications, and other learning opportunities.
- Monthly allowance for remote working, e.g. co-working membership (evaluated case by case).
