Position requirements
- MBA preferred, or Masters in Business or Marketing, commensurate experience in building client portfolios
- Around 15 years of experience in business and brand strategy
- Ability to identify strategic needs, lead all aspects of planning with sound business recommendations, and generate alignment with key business partners
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications
- Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key executives and stakeholders and successfully managing relationship building dynamics and processes
- Deep understanding of a wide range of industries, markets and brands, and what it takes to stand out and service them
- Self motivated and willing to expand knowledge
- Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Direct and execute planning, implementing, scoping, initiating, controlling plus closing strategy projects
- Consult with clients on a range of strategic brand initiatives, including brand positioning, brand architecture, brand analytics, internal brand engagement and digital brand strategy
- Collaborates with the Project Lead or Manager,on preparation of marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for the client
- Provide market research, analyses and insights into latest industry trends
- Prepare strategic frameworks, financial analysis and storylines to guide strategic management discussions
- Ensure to deliver data-driven insights to assist actionable strategic direction, strategy communication, and corporate prioritization
- Responsible for departmental vision, structure, and management while providing leadership, accountability, and mentorship to strategy teams.
- Inspire and mentor junior strategy team members
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and bring an attitude of learning and collaborating.
We are looking for multi-faceted people, not defined solely by their education backgrounds and are problem solvers. You have to be an out-of-the-box thinker, willing to get your hands dirty. We are not looking for ivory tower project managers nor regimented troops seeking orders.
