Job Description:
- Collaborate with BU/GIDC leadership to act on the changing needs and priorities of the business and develop an appropriate HR strategy to meet business objectives
- Proactively discuss and propose new HR initiatives, polices and processes to the service line/regional leaders in consultation with the CoEs
- Liaise with service line/regional leaders to share staffing and workforce models for their business and plan out the talent needs as per the approved budget
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team in DXC Early Career Professional hiring and helping them manage stakeholders through understanding of IT business and pragmatic expectation setting
- Lead the succession planning for critical positions for the service lines to develop succession-plans for the same.
- Work with the talent management team to deliver talent needs of the service lines as per the derived talent requirements and operationalize the process as per plan.
- Working closely with service lines / regional leaders on the people development strategies in collaboration with learning & development (L&D) team.
- Leverage L&D interventions including coaching/ development interventions/training/career development/ high potential development etc. to meet the L&D needs for the service lines / BU.
- Implement service lines specific interventions aimed at providing exposure-opportunities to identified employees in order to aid career-growth, multi-skilling and succession-readiness through job-rotations, promotions.
- Deploy the Performance management agenda for respective service lines including setting performance goals, mid-year reviews, administering appraisal process, rating dissention etc. and contribute towards maintaining a performance driven culture.
- Guide and coach managers on conducting performance coaching discussions for their subordinates and ensure consistency in the performance process within service lines.
- Provide advice and recommendations to business on employee performance plan including measures, desired results, and standards.
- Lead the year end moderation discussions for employee appraisal process to ensure the reviews are conducted in a non discriminatory fashion and the employee rating are fair.
- Program manager the annual compensation review for the service lines / BU in collaboration with the Total Rewards CoE and ensure that implementation of DXC driven compensation philosophy.
- Collaborate with central team in carrying out the employee engagement activities for DXC employees.
- Manage exit interviews and support the business in analysing the data and provide innovative solutions to improve retention rates.
