DVP/VP Talent Management (developing talent strategies that drive business results and performance)

Reporting to the Head- Learning & OD, the VP, Talent Management & Organization Development is the lead functional advisor to executive talent management and collaborates with corporate & regional leaders to ensure alignment & integration for successful implementation and results. (He/She will be responsible to ensure that business results are driven by developing and leading strategies/solutions in partnership with the Human Resources team, Senior Leadership Team, Corporate and Regional Leaders.)

VP Talent Management will develop & implement effective plans, strategies, procedures & policies, and take responsibility for their ongoing monitoring to support an integrated approach to talent management.

The role requires for collaborating closely with HR stakeholders, process owners, HR Operations, Information Technology and C&B to ensure that the desired HR functionality (Performance, Talent and Compensation) meets the needs of the organization. He/She will review and analyze future needs to determine plan and impact on Performance, Talent and Compensation. He/She will also coordinate with the Change Management team, Talent Acquisition team and L&OD team to act as Subject Matter Expert in providing strategy, sharpen HR services, and build vital capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

- Designs and manages talent management strategies and processes to include assessment, development, performance, career management, and retention of top talent.

- Leads talent review process to strengthen talent pipeline.

- Measures and tracks progress of talent action plans.

- Manages Bank's top talent pool for succession to senior roles.

- Responsible for succession management practices and results. Assists leaders with the creation of action plans and monitors progress.

- Works with key leaders to accelerate successful leadership transitions as an advisor throughout preparation, on-boarding, assimilation, and early transition phases.

- Provides development tools, methods, and resources designed to foster relationship-building and accelerate from initiation to productivity.

- Develops approaches to build organizational capability through leadership development planning activities such as targeted assignments, experiential learning, executive coaching, 360 feedback, formal education, and leadership programs.

- Develop team to be able to deploy front line leaders, and other corporate programs.

- Establishes the strategy and process for talent and cultural assessment, integrating team, high performance, required leadership training, and business for cultural transformation initiatives.

- Provides leadership to improve organizational structure. Provides analysis and design to leaders
