DVP/VP/Head - IT Infrastructure - Insurance

- Drive, lead, design new age infrastructure with latest technologies as well as maintain and monitor existing set up while improving performance for the infra of the organisation

Description :

- Design & head the infra for the organisation to ensure existing set up & integration with new technologies is seamless

- Lead and drive migrations on cloud and implementations on the platforms

- Monitor and maintain all aspects of infra including cloud, network, firewall, security, BCP & DR, data centre and end user computing with a key focus on digitisation and automation in processes and servers

- Ensure service delivery of highest quality and maintain uptime of processes and systems

- Identify areas of new technology adoptions and provide solutions for implementing in a cost-efficient manner

- Analyse the technology spend on infra and maintain budgets alongside policies & procedures

- Experience in team management & cross functional stakeholder management (in-house & vendors)

Profile :

- 12-18 years of experience in IT with core competency in Infra, security & network (insurance domain knowledge will be an added advantage)

- Strong hands-on experience on cloud with implementations done on AWS or Azure technologies

- Expertise in end-to-end infra management including cloud, network, security, firewalls, servers, BCP & DR

- Well versed with new age technologies and trends to integrate with existing systems

- Experience in handling infra budget, policies and procedures for all projects

- Team and stakeholder management experience

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with senior leadership and vendor partners

- Experience in vendor evaluation, negotiation and management

- Relevant certifications preferred
