DVP - Business Finance - B2B SaaS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Draw up short-term and long-term financial plans, and delivering against key P&L and revenue growth targets

- Partner with commercial teams to drive business performance - number of schools signed up, annual contract value & revenue, revenue per student and pricing, collections, and contribution margin.

- Lead thinking on pricing for different product lines with strong unit economics

- Leading thinking on cost of acquisition investment to deliver high ROI and LTV/CAC ratio on the business

- Drive marketing payout analysis, channel profitability and evaluating ROI of marketing spends & promotions

- Design and implement strong collections and recovery plan

- Establish and maintain operating and business metrics- build effective Dashboards/ reports/presentations for leadership review

- Produce succinct financial and business narratives for management review documents

- Use technology to set up strong and reliable processes to automate and drive high accuracy and reliability of data to ensure appropriate decision making

- Assess financial viability of new businesses and setting financial guardrails for new initiatives and advice business leaders on commercial deal terms

- Lead management of budgeted spends / cost savings & process improvement projects

- Partner with other Finance leaders to set up a strong finance function within the Company

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

- CA Ranker / MBA from Top B- school with 8-10 years of experience

- Expertise is FP&A is a must

- Self - starter who is able to work independently and drive projects with the team and cross-functionally with other teams

- Must have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (VBA, Power BI preferable)

- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems

- Prior experience in startups or hyper growth companies/businesses preferable
