Job Summary:
- As the DVP/AVP Program Head (Business Strategy), you will be responsible for developing and managing financial schemes, analyzing portfolio yields, and ensuring compliance with market and regulatory requirements.
- This role requires close collaboration with multiple departments to optimize processes and drive overall financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheme Development:
- Create and maintain financial schemes that align with market requirements and adhere to quality standards.
- Continuously review and refine schemes to ensure they remain competitive and effective.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee and analyze portfolio yields to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct thorough analyses to pinpoint areas for growth and enhancement.
Effectiveness Analysis:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing schemes and policies.
- Monitor market penetration, deviations, and perform detailed analyses on dealer pay-out, VLI (Variable Life Insurance), and RBMI (Risk-Based Margin Income).
Portfolio Corrections:
- Collaborate with the collections team to analyze and address portfolio issues.
- Implement corrective measures to resolve discrepancies and improve portfolio health.
Cross-Department Coordination:
- Coordinate with compliance, risk, underwriting, and audit teams to ensure alignment with company policies.
- Facilitate communication between departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
Process Improvement:
- Design and implement enhancements to processes related to lending, underwriting, and collections.
- Identify and execute opportunities for process optimization to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Incentive Programs:
- Develop and manage dealer incentive programs to drive performance and engagement.
- Monitor the impact of incentive programs and adjust as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Audit & Compliance:
- Review and assess internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Monitor and track the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in financial scheme development, portfolio management, and business strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to drive process improvements and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in developing and managing incentive programs and assessing their impact.
