Job Description (Responsibilities) :

- This position is responsible to support the growth of Protective Apparel (PA) for chemical, biological, thermal and hazardous particulate protection in South Asia.

- Provide technical support for the fabric and garment product line to the South Asia Protective Apparel team. Develop technical content for DuPont literature, white papers, webinars, digital sales tools, e-marketing, presentations, etc.

- Work as the technical resource to sales professionals, distributors, customers and other internal/external partners. Support the PA sales and marketing team to drive end user engagement. Develop a fundamental understanding of product performance characteristics to meet customer needs. Provide technical training to the local distributors. Provide timely response to technical questions from customers, as necessary.

- Provide voice of customer relative to product performance and expectations of product attributes. Participate in developing strategies to help grow our PA leadership and identify new business opportunities.

- Focus on pharmaceuticals/clean environment business in South Asia as a start to drive results.

- Be responsible to represent DuPont on local industry codes and standards committees, assessing trends within those organizations and providing the appropriate influence to deliver improved personal protection to the chemical industry and related market segments.

Job Qualifications :

- Technical Profile i.e. education, years of experience, preferred area. etc

- Specialized training/certification: BS/MS/PhD degree in associated engineering field (e.g., Chemical, Pharmaceutical, etc.).

- Fluent in English.

Experience : Minimum 5 years working experience in pharmaceutical or chemical or industrial protective apparel industry. Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

- Demonstrated technical writing skills.

- Ability to analyze and translate complex technical data and standards into marketing and sales tools, which can be easily understood by a broad audience.

- Good business acumen.
