Description:
Lead multi-disciplinary team that utilizes e-tools to store and manage regulatory data for key attributes, run and maintain regulatory processes, develop reports and dashboards for visibility to global teams.
Description of the position:
- Lead dashboard meetings & track current status of projects
- Communication to global regulatory teams on progress and developments of processes
- Develop consistent process for communicating the regulatory requirements, timing, deliverables, and impact on business.
- Prioritize projects to focus on most urgent needs and timeline
- Must deliver to plan
- Provide and or facilitate overall department support for processes
- Utilize project management skills to track work load and meet department/ customer objectives.
- Develop business relationship with manufacturing sites and initiate two-way communications relative to strategy, expectations, metrics, customer requirements, best demonstrated practices, etc.
Key Deliverables:
Leverage and support processes and coverage for:
- Tracking, evaluating, early warning and communicating proposed product environmental-related legislation, regulations and standards
- Satisfying regulatory reporting requirements applicable to DuPont products, sold in different country
- Monitoring and reporting on general banned and restricted substance updates in various countries; and supporting competitive environmental market research initiatives when requested
- Storage and retrieval of material safety data sheet for all businesses
Contribute to DuPont's Product Stewardship & Regulatory (PS&R) leadership vision:
- Lead regulatory processes/projects at India PS&R center
- Work with global PS&R teams using electronic databases and compliance systems to deliver PS&R objectives in the area of responsibility.
- Increase scope of work by effectively managing current SLAs at the same time providing proactive solutions
- Developing and nurturing a quality oriented culture
- Managing metrics of the process and ensuring process health is always good
- Support businesses by communicating the impact of existing and developing legislation on DuPont products especially in the area of safety data.
- Provide individual coaching feedback sessions, and Monthly one-on-ones that focus on improving Quality of work
- Monitor real time service levels and schedule adherence
- Serve as leaders and point of contact for escalated contact resolution of a supervisory nature or complex problems
- Manage and drive staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, projects and other Change/6 Sigma initiatives as required
- People management i.e. appraisal, training and mentoring talent to grow within organization & control attrition
- Ensures employees growth & development, set priority, drive motivation & engagement for employees
- Participate in task forces and global teams to implement and improve PS&R processes
Education and Work Experience:
- Post Graduate/MBA in any discipline with four year technical degree either in chemistry, chemical, biotechnology or environmental engineering preferred.
- Total 5-6 years of experience and minimum 1 year of team leading experience preferably in product environmental compliance/regulatory as a primary function
- In depth knowledge of business processes & products, chemical control legislation, global regulatory, MSDS, GHS, transportation of dangerous goods, labeling & classification of chemicals and sciences associated with EHS (toxicology, eco-toxicology etc.) will be an added advantage.
