Business Unit - Global Organization
GDO (Global Data Organization) is the team responsible to build and maintain content / database. This is the heart of the Organization as D&B products and solutions are built on the database. This group works very closely with business and overseas stakeholders to improve content so as to enhance customer experience.
Key responsibilities :
This associate will work with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements focusing on external user needs, best practices, identifying areas of system enhancements and on efficient database design to streamline user workflows and better integrate our various content sets.
Adherence to Service level agreements (SLAs) and driving efficiency in the process considering all stakeholders. Additionally participate in other projects affecting content solutions such as website, data or feeds.
1.Lead multiple small projects/one large project with support from more senior members of the team
2. Elicit business and technical requirements from stakeholders with appropriate prioritization and dependencies identified.
3. Support user testing; participate in validation sessions
4. Participate in the relevant Agile activities around planning, grooming, elaboration, and acceptance
5. Manage and execute user acceptance plans
6. Develop technical support documentation and training material
7. Respond to technical and functional product questions raised by stakeholders and customers
8. Responsible for building/running an operations team consist of people with strong communication and analytical skills.
9. Creating/Strengthening processes for efficient gathering of the data sources and dissemination of information.
10. Identify the new data sources and liaise with the Global legal, compliance and Enterprise data governance team to seek the approval of the sources for ingestion of the data.
11.Preparation of proposals for new engagement opportunities while collaborating with the data service providers.
12. Should effectively manage escalations of complex problems and identify, evaluate and report technical and/or operational resolutions to the sister offices.
13.Support to sales team for explaining product information to the customers by making presentations, onsite support if required and handling any specific queries.
14. Interact with the Sister Offices on various projects and mandates.
Candidate Profile :
1. Experience - 8- 10 years
2. Qualification - B.E (Computers/IT)-Full time +MBA
3. Excellent command over programming languages (Any one of the .Net, Java, Perl, Python, PHP, R, parsing and similar abilities)
4. Previous experience with financial data sets and public data sources preferred
5. Knowledge of Agile development process and the use of a supporting requirement tool is preferred.
6. Experience of project management desired
7. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
8. Basic understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL preferred
9. Experience supporting a global user base is a plus
