DTDC - Senior Manager - Data Engineering & Analytics

Responsibilities :

- Participate in strategic projects involving analytics requirements and ensure timely completion of deliverables

- Collaborate with leadership and cross functional teams to understand business objectives, define problems, generate business hypothesis, identify data required to evaluate & validate the hypothesis and develop & implement analytical solutions

- Responsible for defining processes, implement best practices and ensure governance in analytics function involving data quality assessment, data extraction, preparation, cleansing, transformation, verifying data integrity for analytical application, creating automated anomaly detection systems and tracking its performance

- Drive development of high quality analytical insights, dashboards, visualizations and reports by integrating datasets from various source systems/ data warehouses and using tools like Tableau, Python, R, Alteryx, Excel etc.

- Evaluate, recommend and implement analytics/ optimization/ data modelling platforms & tools to continually enhance the capabilities

- Build predictive models, optimization models, conduct statistical analysis, prepare reports and present recommendations to key stakeholders

- Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

- Enhance BI adoption of end users by engaging periodically with user groups, creating training roadmaps, resolving stakeholder queries and continuously improving the analytical solution to meet business and user needs

Requirements :

- BE/ BTech/ BSc with sound knowledge of statistics and analytics. PGDM/ MBA/ MS/ Masters in statistics would be preferred

- Proficient in SQL/ Matlab/ R/ Python/ Alteryx/ Advanced Excel and hands=on with visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik View, Power BI etc.

- Minimum 5 years' experience working on analytical solutions development, implementation of BI systems, handling large datasets and working with data engineering teams

- Experience with creating ETL pipelines from sources like Facebook Ads, LI Ads, Google Analytics, MySQL, Mongo, etc. (3+ years)

- Experience with Java/JVM

- Working with Data warehouses/databases (e.g. Snowflake, Bigquery, Redshift, etc.) (2+ years)

- Good experience with SQL and writing complex queries/data structures (2+ years)

- Experience with CI/CD (GCP/AWS) (1+ years)

- Hands-on experience in visualization

- Experience working on Data Science models/ Machine Learning models

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills, comfortable presenting ideas and issues to peer groups and leaders

- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills

- Eager to learn and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

- Occasional travel based on work requirements
