Job Description for Program Manager (Corporate IT)

The primary responsibility includes on-time delivery of all IT projects in compliance with the IT governance model. The role involves supporting the Project Manager in a specific IT project and work according to the requirement of the project. The role holder is expected to liaise with various business teams and delivery teams in requirement gathering and query resolution.
OPERATIONAL:
- Oversee the project management including planning, executing, monitoring and delivering of IT projects
- Liaise with IT delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, address queries and make sure the development is happening as per expectations of the business team
- Ensure the delivery of IT projects is as per expected timelines set by the Project Manager
- Validate whether the delivery team has covered all the requirements shared by the business team during the course of the project
- Maintain compliance to the IT governance model while developing solutions for the projects
- Liaise with various internal and external teams by following up on various issues and requirements on a regular basis
- Ensure on-time delivery and closure of projects
- Use various project management tools (JIRA, Clarizen, Scoro, etc.)to effectively manage the IT projects being run in DTDC
Understand the CRM setup and evaluate existing systems for proposals of implementing Freshdesk / Zendesk tools.
- Identify risks associated with projects and ensure risk mitigation plans are in place
- Ensure that the work is in accordance with established professional standards and remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices that can be incorporated into the function
- Meet regularly with the reporting manager to report the status of ongoing activities, educate/inform them of emerging risks and/or exposures (whether internal or external to the company) that should be considered as part of their day-to-day workings
- Resolve any issues which may arise during the course of the different processes
- Fill in for other members of the department in case of absences or unavailability
- Perform any other tasks on ad-hoc basis as required by the reporting manager
Skills required ;
- Bachelor's Degree in any Computer Sciences / IT
- Certification in Project Management
- At least 2 years of experience of working in PMO teams in a fast paced dynamic business environment
- Experience in a Logistics industry or related field is an added advantage
- Experience with CRM Implementation of FreshDesk / Zendesk
- Results/action-orientation; project management skills
- Strong personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity and trust
- Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Highly-developed communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal savvy
