Role Overview:
- The Manager/Senior Manager of Channel Development and Partnership will play a pivotal role in expanding Droom's market reach by developing and managing strategic partnerships.
- This role requires a dynamic individual who can identify new channel opportunities, build strong relationships, and drive growth through effective partner management.
Responsibilities:
- Channel Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel development strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration for Droom's SaaS offerings.
- Partnership Identification: Identify and evaluate potential channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and strategic alliances, that align with Droom's business objectives.
- Onboarding and Enablement: Lead the onboarding process for new partners, providing the necessary training, resources, and support to ensure their success in promoting Droom's products and services.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring alignment with Droom's goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of channel partners, providing insights and recommendations to optimize results and improve partner effectiveness.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint sales strategies, create go-to-market plans, and provide ongoing support to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Negotiations and Contracts: Lead negotiations and manage contracts with channel partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with Droom's standards.
- Market Research and Insights: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in the channel space.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to channel development and partnership management.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on channel performance, market trends, and partnership outcomes, presenting findings to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in channel development, partnership management, or business development, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing channel partnerships and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of channel sales strategies, partner ecosystems, and goto-market models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with partners at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve partner performance.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with CRM and partner management tools.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and support business development activities
