Droom - Chief Financial Officer

1. Is already working as cfo or head of finance in the current role or most promising second in command

2. Has worked a minimum of 5 years in the last 7 years as head of finance and have always met or exceeded expectations

3. Has headed teams in FP&A, treasury, external and internal audits, statutory compliance- s, risks management, and investor relations

4. Has prior experience in taking company public, acquire companies or raising venture capital or private equity or venture debt

5. Has prior experience in dealing with top 4 or top 6 accounting firms, USA GAAP, PCAOB audit, Ind-AS and dealing with USA and/of India capital markets regulators

6. Deep knowledge about inter-company structure, wholly owned company vs subsidiary, FDIs, double taxation avoidance, and transfer pricing etc

7. Can document existing finance and accounting processes and SOPs, create new processes, refine them and run them

8. Can work with product and engineering team in developing new check and balances or strengthen existing one

9. Knows cost accounting, units cost, formal budget and planning processes, and cost and profit center concepts

10. Have worked with large institutional investors, investment banks, law firms auditors, tax advisors, and capitals market regulators

11. Extremely customer and growth focused but measure everything

12. Strategic thinker, strong business acumen and frugal by nature

13. Exceptional condition interpersonal skills

14. Can work in multi disciplinary environment

15. Is very entrepreneurial and start up type

16. Can deal with ambiguity and unstructured environment

17. Very good in data analysis, benchmarks, competition analysis and best practices

18. Career sits on the intersection of finance, accounting, capital raising, audits, statutory compliance- s, external reporting and management control

19. Minimum of 15 years of experience in progressive career in E-Commerce or other fast paced technology oriented company

20. MBA from IIM, FMS, ISB or USA top 10 or Chartered accountant
