Position : Team Member - Central Planning Team
Purpose: To analyze and report the performance and health indicators of the business units under Global Generics segment, with the objective of facilitating appropriate decision making, in a timely manner, by the senior management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for the following activities:
1. Management Reporting
- Prepare Monthly Information Reports on Sales, Costs, P&Ls. Conduct reviews and analyze variances, trend analysis, and identify the business highlights / lowlights
- Monthly / Quarterly reports on the product wise costs and throughput movements
- Quarterly Analytical review of Sales, SG&A, GM and Receivables
- Business performance reviews with the Business Head & CFO
2. Budgeting / Forecasting
- Prepare/Review consolidated budget (Sales, Capex, R&D, Opex) at GG level.
- Estimate the likely performance, considering the change in business environment / latest developments and lead business indicators
- Advance Tax projections, in line with plan / latest estimates
3. Financial Analytics
- Providing key financial insights to enable the business heads in decision making
- Analyze the product price movements, customer actions, market developments
- Peer benchmarking on Products, Cost Structures, Growth factors, Capex and other parameters
- Review the product mix changes, business impact, and analyzing the reasons
- Throughput analysis at the product / business unit / segment level
- Identification of the opportunities for improvement in sales, optimizing costs and improvement in working capital
Academic Background and Key Experience Requirements:
- A CA / MBA Finance with 1-3 years of experience in the areas of Financial Planning, Budgeting, Market research, etc,
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Familiarity with SAP environment
- Exposure to accounting practices / standards
Key Skills & Competencies:
- The candidate should be sharp in business analytical skills
- Should be adaptable to international work environment
- Should have good networking skills to deal with the stake holders within the organization
