We are looking at hiring the right candidate for the position "Manager - Strategy" for our Biologics business unit.
Purpose
- Key role in the development of long term strategy for the Biologics business with a specific focus on developing ‘actionable’ strategic recommendations by thoroughly evaluating the industry, competitors and competing business models.
Education & Experience
- MBA from a Tier-I business school with at least 5-7 years of experience in market research, sector research, financial statements analysis, business valuation, financial modeling. Background in Pharma/Biotech industries preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensively analyze the biosimilars industry (through both primary and secondary research) to identify key trends and developments both globally and in the emerging markets context
- Develop in-depth analysis of competitors, including company profiles, financial statements, valuation, key events, portfolio status, investments and collaborations with the objective of understanding competitor strategies and business models
- Integrate learnings from industry and competitor research to build ‘outside-in’ perspectives on the business and ‘actionable’ recommendations on how we can build a distinctive and differentiated position for ourselves in the biosimilars marketplace
- On an on-going basis, closely work with the Strategy head and the business leadership team to integrate internal perspectives, support executive level updates (BU Head, CEO, Board) and independently lead any specific strategy initiatives
