Key Accountabilities:
The key accountabilities are in the area of Legal, Compliances and Contract law. These are specifically detailed below:
1. Litigation, legal notices, partnering with the lawyers, court dealing & arbitration with the external parties.
2. Contract management - Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and vetting contracts and various types of legal documents including financial, purchasing contracts,Leases, RFPs, LOI, MOUs, NDA, RFI, lease, license and other regular business contracts. These could include both domestic and international agreements.
3. Business partner and Advisory to the company on all legal matters including commercial laws, IPR, medico legal, labor and other relevant laws.
4. Formulate legal processes for the company including processes for managing trademark violations, issuing legal notices and any other related areas
5. Good knowledge and experience of court procedure is preferable. Drafting of written statements, issuing and replying statutory legal notices, counters, company petitions, complaints etc.
6. Implementing online compliance tool for ensuring strict monitoring of compliance.
7. Providing professional and strategic advice to the senior management on legal-related matters.
