- Responsible for CL sales growth in the region and focus sector for DP world
- Map the market and maintain a market intelligence of customers in the region. Develop a prioritized target customer list and focus sales effort to penetrate and grow the target customers
- Develop and execute sales plan to sell customized CL solutions to target customer segments in the allocated region x sector.
- Drive conversations with accounts to identify unmet customer logistics needs, beyond stated needs and identify the relevant DP world CL solution(s) that can deliver value to the client
- Support the Solution Architect in developing customized solutions to meet Clients needs and expectations
- Ensure DP world price positioning in the market through effective value based selling of CL solutions and managing the profitability of the business
- Identify other needs of the customer which DP World can service and forward leads to relevant sales managers internally.
- Manage the allocation of sales resources to ensure achievement of country/product/industry objectives/targets
- Build strong client relationships by ensuring adequate customer stakeholder interactions across customer hierarchy
- Adept in using sales digital tools - CRM / ERP / pricing tools
- Learn from existing customer service delivery analysis reports about our performance and our productivities and use them to understand new customer requirements
Skills
- Proven sales track record in CL sales in the logistics industry with 5+ years of experience in India
- Relevant knowledge of service solutions across the logistic value chain
- Experience in solution selling for warehousing and distribution solutions including network design experience if any
- Relevant CL sales expertise within specific sector - XYZ
- Possess excellent communication, team management & interpersonal skills
