DP World - Manager - Solution Design

Job Description :

- Drive effective, integrated and innovative supply chain solutions for customers using the entire set of DP world capabilities

- Understand current client logistic operations of the customer, identify unmet needs, challenges, opportunities to drive value with support of Sales manager / Account manager

- Design effective integrated logistics solutions through extensive cost-benefit analysis. Support the value based selling proposals with the sales team

- Support the cost / effort estimation process for the proposed solution with support from the Operations team and Pricing team

- Develop implementation plan of proposed logistics solution, including development of operations plan, hiring requirement & end customer commercial value proposition with support of the delivery teams

- Help position DP World as a Thought leader in the logistics space through consultative futuristic value selling

- Provide subject matter expertise to sales team/key account manager on queries related to domestic/international transportation

- Facilitate knowledge transfer between solutions and delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions

Required Skills and experience :

- 8+ years of experience in working in logistics operations/developing integrated logistics solutions within logistics industry in India

- Experience in supporting sales of integrated logistics services

- Experience in cost estimation and pricing integrated logistics services

- Primary expertise in a core area viz Transportation / Warehousing / EXIM with a good understanding of the other areas as well

- Experience across domestic & international supply chain/transportation operations (preferred)

- Worked with industry leading 3PL companies (preferred)
