Role Description:


This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Digital Marketing at doodleblue Innovations in Chennai. The role involves leading digital marketing initiatives, developing digital strategies, managing social media marketing, optimizing lead generation, and analyzing web analytics to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of extensive experience in digital marketing, particularly within the software services industry, and a strong track record of working across diverse sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:


- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the companys overall business goals and growth objectives.


- Provide vision and direction for digital marketing initiatives across various sectors including retail, fintech, banking, and pharmaceuticals.

Client Engagement:


- Participate in client meetings to understand their needs, present marketing strategies, and discuss digital marketing solutions.

- Prepare and deliver persuasive marketing pitches tailored to client requirements, demonstrating how our solutions can address their challenges and goals.

Campaign Oversight:


- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, email marketing).

- Ensure all campaigns are effectively targeting key audiences and driving measurable results.

Team Management:


- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and execution of strategic marketing objectives.

Budget and Resource Management:


- Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

Performance Analytics:


- Utilize advanced analytics tools and platforms to track, measure, and report on digital marketing performance and KPIs.

- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive decision-making and improve campaign effectiveness.

Market and Competitor Analysis:


- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the software services industry and target sectors.

- Adjust strategies based on insights and evolving market dynamics.

Stakeholder Engagement:


- Collaborate with senior leadership, product teams, and other departments to ensure cohesive and strategic marketing efforts.

- Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing capabilities and execution.

Innovation and Best Practices:


- Stay current with digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the companys marketing strategies are cutting-edge and effective.

- Experiment with innovative approaches to drive growth and engagement.


Qualifications:


- Bachelors/Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) is a plus.

- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and growing a digital marketing team.

- Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media management tools, email marketing software).

- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
